Kazakhstan will adopt a comprehensive plan aimed at combating illegal gambling and gambling addiction for the period 2024-2026.
State Councilor Yerlan Karin announced this on Telegram, mentioning the results of the third meeting of the National Kurultai. According to him, after the meeting, the Presidential Administration and the government formed mechanisms for implementing the initiatives of the Head of State.
Today saw the approval of a plan for implementing the President’s instructions, which is a large-scale document of 40 points covering a variety of activities. The plan provides for the development and adoption of about 10 laws, according to Karin.
Among these laws are those aimed at tightening liability for drug production, combating gambling addiction, protection of historical sites, issues in the field of archaeology, onomastics and state awards.
