Prosecutors of the Karaganda region prevented free access to negative Internet sites in schools. Students had access to prohibited sites, which they took advantage of.
During the inspection, the prosecutor's office of the Karaganda region established facts of students’ open access to destructive information.
— Students, having access to various sites, received information of various nature. For example, children in the city of Shakhtinsk freely used browsers to search for pornographic information and places where drugs were sold.
According to the regional prosecutor’s office, in the city of Balkhash, children underwent tests to identify them as members of the PMC Redan, which is an aggressive youth group and poses a danger to society.
As it became known, violations were detected in all schools in the region. Acts of prosecutorial supervision were introduced, the perpetrators were punished, and measures were taken to limit students’ access to negative sites.
