Since March 18 of this year, an online service has been launched in pilot mode that enables citizens of Kazakhstan to restrict themselves from participating in gambling and betting.
According to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, during this period more than 7 thousand people restricted themselves from gambling through the eGov mobile application.
It remains possible to submit a written application for self-restraint from participation in gambling and betting through the organizers of the gambling business. According to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, more than 3 thousand people have restricted themselves from participating in gambling and betting in paper format.
The Ministry reminded that the application must be submitted by a person who wants to limit his participation in gambling and betting by themselves, using a personal digital signature. Applications by third parties are not permitted.
