Young Kazakhstanis spent 375 million tenge in online casinos

Regional Department of economic investigations has completed a pre-trial investigation of four people who organized and managed an illegal online gambling business.

“The total amount of funds raised from online casino players amounted to 375 million tenge,” the message says.

Online casino players were young people aged 22-30 years.

During the pre-trial investigation, movable and immovable property of the gambling establishment, obtained by criminal means, was seized.

The prosecutor's office of the Aktobe region warns that gambling gives rise to the development of serious diseases such as gambling addiction and ludomania.
